THE BOAR AND THE EAGLE
93 B.C.E. As the Roman Republic teeters on the brink of civil war, Iberian tribes wage a desperate struggle against the relentless march of Roman legions.
Among them is Caro, a slave and hunter, torn from his homeland as a child, surviving only by the blade and his wits. But when a reckless act of defiance leads to his capture by a ruthless Roman governor, Caro faces a brutal choice: die in chains or fight for Rome.
Rescued (if it can be called that) by the ambitious young officer Quintus Sertorius, Caro is thrust into the brutal world of Roman warfare. From blood-soaked ambushes in the wild Iberian hills to the deadly politics of the Roman world, Caro must learn quickly, because in this world loyalty is fleeting, and only the strong survive.

THE SHATTERED CITY
88 B.C.E. Two giants fight for Rome. One soldier must choose between them.
The Roman Republic stands on the brink of collapse. Gaius Marius, its greatest living hero, and Lucius Cornelius Sulla, ruthless champion of the Senate, both claim the right to command its future.
Caught between these warring titans is Caro, a battle-scarred mercenary captain bound by loyalty and friendship to the brilliant, uncompromising officer Quintus Sertorius.
As factions clash in the streets and blood stains Rome’s marble, Caro and Sertorius are forced to choose where they stand and what they are willing to become. Meanwhile rumours spread of the unthinkable: a Roman army marching not against a foreign enemy, but on its own capital.

FUGITIVUS: SHADOW OF ROME
83 BCE. Driven from Italy by the tyrant Sulla, Quintus Sertorius - the last true general of the old Republic - turns to the one place that might yet save everything: the Roman provinces of Iberia.
At his side is Caro of the Mentesani. Warrior, officer, and reluctant witness to history, Caro has followed his commander through two wars and across half the known world. Now returned to the homeland he left a decade ago, he finds an Iberia transformed and a cause teetering between salvation and open rebellion.
As Sulla's armies march on the Pyrenees and the knives of traitors glint in the shadows, Caro will be pushed further than ever before. Across storm-tossed seas, foreign shores, and even the edge of the known world, the price of loyalty has never been higher.
